Acting on a tip-off the police was successful in nabbing Rajen majhi, the prime accused of the Moran minor rape case who was on the run from the police for 8 days.

It may be mentioned that three days ago a minor was found dead wrapped inside a sack at Tilobari in Moran of Dibrugarh.

Meanwhile, fumed locals staged vehement protest demanding exemplary punishment for the culprit.
