As incidents of violence against doctors and hospitals is augmenting in recent times due to failure of the medical authorities to save an ailing person’s life, the secretary of the IMA, Arunachal Branch Dr Jego Ori stated that the meet would focus on the need for Legal Acts against violence in hospitals as well as on the need for a central act in the parliament.

The team’s idea of the Bharat Yatra Tour is to generate awareness and unity among doctors and to create solidarity among the medical fraternity. The IMA Bharat Yatra team, IMA executive members and members of the state and district units of the IMA also attended the meet yesterday.
