In a shocking incident, a woman was allegedly gang raped in front of her husband by a group of 8-9 miscreants in Assam’s Nagaon district. The horrendous incident took place at Kampur Kakatigaon locality of Nagaon district.
As per reports, the group of eight to nine youths tricked the couple to alight from a train. Then, the youths kidnapped the couple to an isolated spot near the Kapili River where they physically assaulted the husband and raped his wife in front of him.
The couple later managed to escape from the clutches of the miscreants and informed the matter to the members of Chaparmukh Tempo Association. Meanwhile, a case has been registered at the Kampur police station and the investigation is on.
