Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Arunachal Pradesh and got a rousing welcome in capital Itanagar.
While addressing the thousands of people who gathered for the Prime Minister’s visit, Modi said he was delighted to open the new Secretariat where most of the state’s key departments are based. He assured of improved coordination and convenience in the new facility.
PM Modi further pointed out that tourism and medical education in Northeast will be provided a boost with the rest of the country.
The Prime Minister also announced that a new express train between Naharlagun and New Delhi called Arunachal Express will run twice a week.
Further, it was announced that projects worth Rs 18000 crore will be implement for overall growth and development of Arunachal.
Prime Minister Modi praised the patriotism of the people of Arunachal Pradesh.
