Defense Minister Nirmala Sitaraman accompanied by BJP General Secretatry Nalin Kohli released the party’s Vision Document for the poll bound state of Meghalaya in Shillong.

The Defense Minister focused on the need of development in the state that will be going to polls on February 27.

Sitaraman said that ‘change’ can be brought by anybody but a party who has been in power for the last ten years, who had their best years with the same party in power in the centre failed to bring substantial development.

Lashing out at the Mukul Sangma-led Congress Government Sitharama said that Congress failed to deliver the basic requirements of roads and electricty.

The document focuses on several issues that the state has been deprived of.
