The much anticipated Akshay Kumar starrer film ‘Padman’ is finally out for the audience today and it already looks like a blockbuster hit. Along with the rest of the nation, the film was also released in Assam and other parts of the North Eastern Region, and saw a good crowd of movie lovers, who had been waiting for the release of the film.

It may be mentioned here that the film is inspired by the life of Coimbatore based Arunachalam Murugantham, who strived to find a cheaper alternative for manufacturing affordable sanitary napkin for women, is all set to hit the box office with a bang.

Padman was earlier slated to release on January 25th but was postponed after the makers of Padmavat requested the producers to push its release.
